Arrival in Kaohsiung!! Mon arrivée à Taiwan!

Ni Hao!

Et voilà!! Ca y'est, j'y suis!!  Taiwannnnnnnnnnn!! Enfin!!..

Bon il est vrai que ça fait maintenant bientôt une semaine que je suis arrivé à Taiwan, donc voici un petit résumé de ce qui s'est passé depuis.


Jour 1

Arrivé 21H40 à l'éroport de Kaohsiung. Le frère de Yu Ying m'attends, en compagnie de sa copine.

Au début, forcément, non seulement avec la longueur du voyage mais surtout vu l'étendue de mes connaissances en chinois (qui ne vole pas haut...), c'était vraiment pas facile de communiquer. Petit mix mandarin-anglais obligatoire...
J'avais stressé un peu à l'atterissage de mon avion, mais en fait, c'est pas si sorcier que ça.
Au pire, il reste toujours le language des signes...

J'embarque dans sa voiture, et direction, mon futur appartement!!
Après une bonne vingtaine de minutes, nous voilà arrivés!!  Petit aurevoir à Ruey et à sa copine (ils sont vraiment très cools), et bonsoir à Bi Shan, une de mes colloques!!
En effet, pas question d'habiter tout seul pour ces 4 mois, grâce à Yu, j'ai trouvé une colloc avec 3 taiwanais super sympas!! Ca fera une belle immersion...

On avait déjà pas mal parlé ensemble sur le net, donc on s'est tout de suite très bien entendu. Bi Shan me présente ensuite à son copain, Alex! Et là je me dis que j'ai beaucoup de chance de tomber sur eux... Alleluya!

Here i am!! Taiwannnnnnnnnnn! At last!
It"s almost been one week since I arrived in Taiwan. Here's what happened since the very first day.

Day 1

Kaohsiung International Airport: 21h40. Yu Ying's bro and his GF are waiting for me.
At the beginning, it was kindda hard to communicate, because of the jetlag, and because of my amazing, fantastic, unbelievable chinese skills, as well...(irony...). I had to mix english and chinese...

I was a bit stressed, but with a bit of practice and by using some body language, communication became possible.
(I guess we get used to)

Got into the car, and let's go to my new apartment!!
Around 20 minutes later, we finally arrived there!! Huge building (from someone like me, from Chambéry..small town..) approximately 20 minutes by scooter from downtown (convenient!!)

One of my roomates, Bi Shan is going downstairs to catch me.
Yep, no way for me to live alone during those 4 months of intensive chinese in Kaohsiung!! I'm gonna live with 3 taiwanese!! Hurray!! That's a great immersion, isnt'it?

We'v talked quite a lot on the net before I arrived, then it's quite easy and comfortable to talk to her. And it happens being the same with Alex, her Bf!! I realize how lucky I am to have them!:) (thx my Yu:D)
